In 1994, on a trip with friends to Bali, Gary and I decided to take our respective love of travel to a new level by opening a travel agency. Hence, Woodside Travel was born. During our firsts few years we designed a large number of honeymoons for our friends at Microsoft. In the past few years, the agency has designed a large number of honeymoons for the children of these first clients ! Evidently we are doing something right to engender the loyalty of so many clients over the past 26 years.
Even as a child, the thought of all things Asian fascinated me. Over the past few years, I feel so fortunate that I have been able to spend time in the culture, sights, foods and people of Japan,China, Burma (Myanmar), Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and South Korea. I love designing itineraries by land or sea to these exotic destinations.
